Hardshell is a song writing and music production partnership.
Our aim is to work closely with established and aspiring artists and
those who want to commission original music works for general
commercial release on TV, radio and film.
The company
was set up in 2004 by Frank Tolan and Richard Escott who
between them have over 30 years of experience in producing
and performing music.

Studio News
Our studio
has recently been renovated keeping up to date with the
latest industry standard technology. The Hardshell Production
base now operates using Logic Pro 7 on a dual G5 (2.7 GHz).
Key software, as always, includes our favourites Spectrasonics
Stylus, Trilogy & Atmosphere, Native Instruments, Garritan
Personal Orchestra, Steinberg, Line 6 Kit and Reason 3.
Our outboard gear includes Ibanez and Musicman Guitars,
Rode Microphones, Roland, Korg & Yamaha Keyboards, MOTU
& Emagic and our stalwort Access Virus Rack!
